Updated to current time, the joke would be that McCain was ready to turn a page on the economy, but instead the economy turned a page on McCain candidacy for president.
Who knows? Its very hard to predict, especially the future. If you were wondering if this is a good time to panic, the answer is you betcha!.
If current trends are to be believed, the McCain campaign is going to expose Obama as a drug dealing terrorist cocaine sniffing Muslim, which is unamerican, and does not look like an American (we are using here a very restricted definition of American: An American is a white Christian non-catholic person voting for McCain that does not live in Chicago).
And people complain the government is not listening to their complaints. They are so wrong…

This is kind of strange if you think about it, because we do it all the time - we dont expect to have even remotely reasonable answers on the spot for all questions without well, thinking about them (or pretending to think about them).
And this interview was not live, so its really something else than being put on the spot. The funny thing is that if SP asked for time out to think about the question it would have depicted her as a more serious person, which is anyway to her advantage.

You might have heard that life is but a cabaret. I completely reject this point of view. If life is a cabaret, where is the singing? Where is the dancing? Where is the artistic desperation involved? No. After careful inspection one has to reject this vile assertion.
