Dear members of the computational geometry mailing list,
I would like to announce 7 new research posts in the Bioinformatics Research Group at the University of Ulster located in the beautiful north of Ireland (for application details see attached PDF). In particular, I would like to draw your attention to one research fellow position, which tries to combine 3D imaging techqniques and computational geometry and incorporate the generated volumentric grids from the underlying image data into a modelling and simulation environment. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated scientist with a sound working knowledge in computational geometry (volumentric grids, reconstructions from serial sections, remeshing) to establish his own research profile in the new emerging field of systems biology.
