                Amado Recital Room
                Irvine Auditorium

About the Workshop
-------------------

The aim of this workshop is to bring together students
and researchers from academia and industry, to stimulate collaboration on
problems of common interest arising in geometric computations. This year
we have four invited talks and 35 submitted presentations. As invited
speakers, we will have four eminent leaders in their respective fields who
have witnessed first-hand the need for geometric computing and its
applications.

* Tamal K. Dey (Ohio State University),
Talk Title: Delaunay Meshing of Surfaces

* James R. Lee (Institute for Advanced Study),
Talk Title: High-dimensional Convex Geometry, Metric Embeddings, and
    Graph Expansion

* Donna J. Peuquet (Pennsylvania State University),
Talk Title: Time for Change: An Integrated Environment for
Representation and Analysis of Complex Space-Time Processes

* Mona Singh (Princeton University),
Talk Title: Predicting and Analyzing Protein Interaction Networks

Registration

There is no registration fee for the workshop. People
planning to attend the workshop should send an email to Janean Williams at
janeanw@cis.upenn.edu with your name, institutional affiliation, whether
you are a student/faculty/researcher etc. and dates you are planning to
attend the workshop.

This workshop is supported by the National Science Foundation (pending)
and the Computer and Information Sciences Department of the University of
Pennsylvania.
