[Compgeom-announce] election of CG Steering Committee -- Results
Dear CG Community,
As you will remember, elections for the new CG Steering Committee were held over the summer. This resulted in the following new committee:
Pankaj Agarwal
Jeff Erickson
Marc van Kreveld (secretary)
Joe Mitchell
Günter Rote (chair)
The new committee will take over as of today (September 1).
Some statistics: In total 101 people sent me their votes. The five elected candidates received between 43 and 57 votes each, and the remaining candidates each received between 21 and 38 votes.
On behalf of the current Steering Committee I wish to thank all of you who sent me their votes and all candidates for agreeing to stand for election,
and I wish the new Steering Committee all the best.
