Postdoc position available:
Geometric Algorithms in Virtual Reality and Advanced Simulation
University of Alcala de Henares


The Geometric Algorithms in Virtual Reality and Advanced Simulation group
is a new consortium with the aim of developing, engineering and
implement geometric algorithms useful for real time computations.

We look for computer scientist/mathematicians/engineers with knowledge
in at least one of the following fields: computational geometry,
geometric modeling, or simulation. The successful candidate will work
on the development and implementation of geometric algorithms and
real time simulation in biomedical engineering.
He/she will work in the Computational Geometry Group
of the University of Alcala and is expected to interact with the rest
of its members and with the rest of the groups in the consortium.

The position starts on January 1, 2007 and applications will be
accepted until the position is filled.

The position is open for 1+2 years, subjected to the renewal of the 
consortium.

Gross salary is 21100 €
