POSTDOC POSITION AT INRA Jouy-en-Josas

A Postdoc position is available at INRA Jouy-en-Josas, 
in the department of Applied Mathematics and Computer 
Science. The position is for a period of 18 months
and can start from March 1st, 2007.

We are looking for candidates holding a PhD degree
in Computer Science or a related area. Candidates
should have  experience in Computational Geometry or 
Optimization Algorithms.

The successful applicant will be involved in research 
projects in Computational Geometry and/or applications 
to Biology. Some possible research topics are the 
following:
- Design and analysis of geometric approximation 
algorithms.
- 3D protein structure prediction.

INRA in the French national institute for agricultural
research. Our department gathers mathematicians and
computer scientists who collaborate with biologists 
from INRA and other institutions. Jouy-en-Josas is 
located 15km from Paris.
