[compgeom-announce] PhD offers at INRIA

INRIA is currently offering phD positions.
Deadline for applications: April 30, 2007.

One of the proposed topic is the following.
More Spaces for Computational Geometry.
The goal of this research is to develop a complete study of triangulations
in geometric spaces that have hardly, if at all, been considered in the
computational geometry literature so far, and that are relevant to needs
in applied domains.
The work will consist in developing robust and efficient algorithms for
triangulations and implementing them in the widely used CGAL software
library (www.cgal.ord), for other spaces than Rd, such as periodic spaces
(torus, cylinder), oriented projective space, projective space, hyperbolic
space.
