Job Title: Computational Geometry Computer Scientist

We are hiring top notch candidates having specialization in geometric modeling and mesh generation. Successful candidates must be able to work independently on projects and integrate well into the team.
Job Description:
? Implement algorithms and data structures using an object-oriented methodology for geometric modeling for core product enhancements and custom applications in specific domains
? Implement algorithms and data structures for structured and unstructured surface and solid mesh generation, mesh smoothing, mesh data management, visualization and post-processing of analysis results
? Integrate the various geometric modeling, meshing, and post-processing methodologies into the modeling framework enabling geometry driven rapid engineering design, analysis, and manufacturing
? Create and apply leading edge Computer Science Technologies in a broad array of areas including distributed systems, product data management, visualization, networking, and others
Requirements:
? BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
? Min GPA of 3.4 / 4.0
? Computational geometry algorithms training
? Object oriented programming experience
Desired skills:
? Mesh generation training and programming experience including an understanding of multiple meshing techniques and related numerical methods such as advancing front, transfinite interpolation, elliptic smoothing, Delaunay triangulation, finite octree, etc.
? Geometry modeling kernel (Parasolid, ACIS, etc.) training and programming experience
? 3D Graphics and OpenGL programming
? Strong C/C++ programming experience
? Numerical methods coursework & preferably programming experience
? Computer Science coursework in data structures, algorithms, computer architecture, operating systems, compiler theory, database systems, networking, and distributed systems
? Computer Aided Design (CAD) interfacing experience
? Functional programming experience (Lisp or Scheme)
? User interface programming (Windows, Linux, Unix)
