[compgeom-announce] CRA-W/CDC workshop on CG (11/15/2009) - call for participance

Dear members of the Computational-Geometry community,

This year, the Fall Workshop will be followed by a 1-day workshop on
Computational Geometry, supported by CRA-W/CDC, designed to encourage the
success of women and members of underrepresented groups at the graduate
or post-graduate level.  The purpose of the workshop will be to help
these people become interested in and knowledgeable about the paradigms
and research of computational geometry.  The workshop, to be held in
November 15, 2009, will include eight tutorials given by experts.
Tentative schedule will shortly be posted in
   http://www.cs.tufts.edu/fwcg2009 .
You are kindly asked to identify prospect students who may find it
beneficial to attend this workshop, and encourage them to attend it.
Details about available financial support are also found in the web page
mentioned above.
