Pierre et Marie Curie.  


Un poste de Maitre de Conférences (section 25/26), attaché à l'Equipe Combinatoire 
& Optimisation (CNRS FRE 3232, http://www.ecp6.jussieu.fr/ ) de l'Université 
Pierre et Marie Curie,  est  à  pourvoir à la rentrée 2010. Nous recherchons des 
candidats dont le profil recoupe les thématiques suivantes:  Théorie des graphes, 
géométrie algorithmique, recherche opérationnelle, optimisation discrète, 
combinatoire.

The Equipe Combinatoire et Optimisation (CNRS FRE 3232, http://www.ecp6.jussieu.fr/) 
of the University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, France, invites applications 
from qualified mathematicians and theoretical computer scientists to fill 
an opening at the associate-professor level. The position will have a starting 
date of September 1st, 2010.   

We are seeking candidates with a proven research record and a clear potential for 
leading and initiating new research activity preferably in (but not
limited to)  graph theory, computational geometry, discrete optimisation, 
mathematical programming, combinatorics. 

The candidate will be expected to also contribute to the Department's graduate 
and undergraduate teaching activities in mathematics. 
Applicants must be proficient in spoken French. 

The candidates must be enrolled on the ''liste de qualification'' 
(application deadline Thursday October 29, 2009).
